What the water-drop icon means
Samsung devices can stop wired charging when moisture is detected in or near the USB port. This protection is intended to reduce corrosion and electrical damage.
Disconnect the cable, power the device off when appropriate and allow the port to dry completely in a ventilated area. Do not push material into the connector.
What a muffled Galaxy speaker means
Water near the loudspeaker opening can make voices quiet, raspy or unclear. If the phone otherwise behaves normally, remove the case and hold the affected grille down toward a dry cloth.
Disconnect Bluetooth and play the selected nBeats Galaxy sound once. It may move droplets close to the grille, but it will not clear the USB moisture sensor.
Why model selection changes the sound
The nBeats Samsung page provides separate 1:36 files for Galaxy S26, S25, S24, S23, Z Fold, Z Flip, A56/A36, broader A-series and Note choices. Selecting another model loads and starts a different sound.
These choices improve clarity and comparison inside the tool; they are not Samsung-certified acoustic calibrations and do not guarantee recovery.
When the warning or distortion persists
If the port is fully dry but the icon remains, consult Samsung’s current support steps for the model. If the speaker remains distorted after drying time, test several clean sources and arrange service if the problem is consistent.
Saltwater, soap and sugary liquids deserve faster professional attention because residue can remain after apparent drying.
Device-specific safety statements are linked to current manufacturer guidance and independent reporting.
