Android speaker cleaner guide for Pixel, OnePlus, Xiaomi and more

Android is an operating system, not one speaker design. Start with the phone brand in your hand and keep the sound, charging alert and audio-routing checks separate.

01

Identify the phone and the affected opening

Remove the case and find which speaker is actually muffled: the lower loudspeaker, top earpiece or both. Do not assume every hole is a speaker; microphones often sit near the same edge.

Place the affected speaker downward over a lint-free cloth. Keep the USB-C connector unobstructed and disconnected from power.

02

Confirm audio is not routed elsewhere

Android phones can continue sending media to Pixel Buds, cars, smart speakers or another Bluetooth accessory. Use the media output control or disconnect Bluetooth before starting the sound.

If the nBeats player is silent but another device makes noise, the tool is working—the output route is wrong.

03

Choose the closest nBeats route

The Android page separates Google Pixel, OnePlus, Xiaomi/Redmi, Nothing Phone, OPPO/realme, Motorola, vivo and Other Android. Each selection loads a different 1:36 nBeats sound and restarts at 00:00.

These are practical sound choices, not laboratory tuning from the manufacturers. Begin at a moderate level and stop if the built-in speaker distorts sharply.

04

Retest before assuming damage

Let the phone rest, then compare spoken audio, a phone call and the nBeats speaker test. If only one app is affected, check that app’s volume and output settings.

Persistent crackling, heat, charging warnings or power instability needs the phone maker’s support or a qualified technician.
