Use & safety

nBeats Rescue provides browser-based audio tools and general troubleshooting guidance. Sound may help move water near a speaker opening, but it cannot establish that a device is dry or safe, repair damaged hardware, or remove moisture from a charging port or the inside of a device. Results vary.

Use sound carefully

• Start at a comfortable volume and keep the speaker away from your ears. Stop if sound causes discomfort or severe distortion.
• Do not wear headphones or earbuds while playing water-eject sounds. Use listening tests only at a safe volume.
• Do not charge a wet device. Follow the manufacturer’s drying and liquid-exposure instructions.
• Stop using a device that becomes unusually hot, swells, smells burnt or has visible damage. Seek qualified repair advice.
• Do not rely on an audio test as a professional diagnosis or a guarantee of repair.

These tools are provided for general use without a promise that they will fix a particular device. Browser support, device hardware and operating-system restrictions can affect playback and microphone access. Nothing on this page removes rights you have under applicable consumer law.
